Driver License Testing

Please bring the following documents for testing:

  • Current FL DL/ID or The following documents to satisfy REAL ID requirements:
    • Certified Birth Certificate or Current Passport
    • Social Security Card or Number
    • If customer’s name has changed since birth (including marriages where you take your spouse's last name) we need proof of every and all legal name change document (certified marriage license- **including previous marriages**, court orders, etc.).
    • Two proofs of current Florida address  

Please be aware the documents must be original, photo copies of the documents cannot be accepted.

Who must take a Class E knowledge exam?

  • Individuals who downgraded to an ID card for one year or more due to a sanction
  • Individuals with a Florida license expired for one year or more
  • Out-of-State license holder expired for one year or more
  • Applicants who did not obtain a Class E license within one year of passing the Class E knowledge exam
  • First Time Drivers
